TRAKR tags are smart wearable tags assigned to each employee. These tags can monitor the worker’s behaviour (movement) and track his/her movements by sending beacon messages. One button alarm activation is available on all of our personal safety devices.

TRAKR-L is our low cost version of TRAKR tags.

Configuration Options:

  • Distance:
    RSSI values (signal strength) is used for calculating the distance between the tags. The distance threshold in the tag can be configured from a smartphone.
  • Scan duration:
    By default the tag scans for the surrounding tags every 5 secs. The scan timings can be configured from every 1 sec to every 10 mins from our mobile application. Increasing the scan frequency decreases the battery life

The tag stores record internally in two files.

  • TAG DATABASE:
    • This file stores only the critical tag IDs data i.e. tags which came in close contact.
    • Time to sync: 2-5 seconds
  • RECORDS DATABASE:
    • This file stores more information about when and for how long the tags were in close contact.
    • Time to sync: 2 sec- 1 min
  • Time taken to sync the data to the cloud depends on the size of the database. Depending on the throughput requirements, we can configure, the records database to be synced to the cloud or not.
    • PS: Tag database is always synced.
  • Battery: System also comes with the following protections:
    • Over-Voltage Protection,
    • DPM(Dynamic power management),
    • Safety Timers, and short circuit protection.
    • Auto cutoff on battery full and overcharge protection.

Anchor nodes are put in different locations of the workarea. These can be used to identify workers’ location in real time and communicates the information from the tag to a central gateway. The anchor nodes can either connect to a preexisting WiFi network or can form a resilient mesh network on their own. A PA system can be attached to units to make automated announcements and alarms in the affected area in case of an emergency.

The cloud gets data from the gateway. Depending on the data, the cloud can generate mail or SMS notifications. TRAKR.LIVE Hub is designed to be flexible.
